Our Story

Sean has a genius-level IQ but chooses to work as a janitor at MIT. He spends his free time drinking with his friends Chuckie, Billy, and Morgan. At a bar, Sean meets Courtney, a British woman about to graduate from Harvard College, who plans on attending medical school at Stanford. When Sean is arrested for attacking a police officer, MIT Professor Lambeau makes a deal to get leniency for him if he will get treatment from therapist Sean Maguire. From these therapy sessions, Sean re-evaluates his relationships with his best friend, his girlfriend, and himself, facing the significant task of confronting his past and thinking about his future.
